Open-Air Parties in Paris: Venues, Season and 2027
· Updated:
The 2026 open-air season in Paris is over: Kilomètre25 closed on 31 October 2026 and is due back in spring 2027 (no date announced yet), La Clairière in the Bois de Boulogne ended on 26 September, and Virage at Porte de Saint-Ouen closed in mid-September. In Paris the open-air season runs roughly from April to October, mostly under the périphérique and in the woods, and the rest of the year the same crowd moves into the clubs.
We'll update this guide when the 2027 dates come out. In the meantime, here's how the season works, where the open-airs take place, which clubs have a terrace that comes back in summer, and where to dance in the meantime.

Kilomètre25: techno under the ring road
Kilomètre25 is the reference open-air club in Paris. It sits at 8 boulevard Macdonald, in the 19e, on the border with Pantin, with its dancefloor outdoors under the concrete of the périphérique, next to the Canal de l'Ourcq. The sixth season opened on 2 April 2026 and ended with a Halloween closing night on 31 October that ran until midday. In season, Thursdays go from 11pm to 6am (from June), Fridays, Saturdays and holiday eves from midnight to 9am, with “After” tickets from 5am, and some Sundays from 4pm to midnight. The sound is techno, house, hard techno and acid. Time Out describes Mia Mao, the warehouse a few minutes away, as its sibling club: in winter that's where the same scene moves indoors.

Virage and La Clairière
Virage is the other open-air under the ring road, at 26 rue Hélène et François Missoffe in the 17e, between Porte de Saint-Ouen and Porte de Clichy, in a former scrapyard decorated with reclaimed materials. Its fifth season opened on 10 and 11 April 2026 with dark disco, dark techno and queer techno from 10pm to 6am, and Acid Arab and Discoquette were among the names announced. It belongs to the same group as Badaboum. La Clairière is the green option: an outdoor dancefloor in the Bois de Boulogne, at the Domaine de Longchamp, open on Friday and Saturday evenings and special dates from 22 May to 26 September 2026, with house and dance DJ sets, a chill-out area, food trucks and tables. Neither has announced its 2027 dates.

Club terraces that come back in summer
Several clubs that are open all year add an outdoor space in the warm months. Wanderlust, at the Cité de la Mode on quai d'Austerlitz (13e), has a big wooden terrace on the Seine that hosts open-air parties in summer; in August 2026 it had nights from Tuesday to Saturday. Bateau Phare, the red boat at Port de la Gare, has a quayside terrace. Point Éphémère, on the Canal Saint-Martin, opens its rooftop in summer only, until September. And Cabaret Sauvage, in the Parc de la Villette, uses a 2,000 m² terrace above the Canal de l'Ourcq for open-airs in the warmer months. In winter these four keep their indoor club nights.
Outside Paris: gardens, riverbanks and a free festival
Beyond the ring road the open-air season has its own spots. Le Sample, in Bagnolet, opens a garden of about 2,000 m² for parties in good weather (its Apéroteuf open-air was on 19 April 2026, Openflow on 26 June). Le 6B, a creative space on the banks of the Seine in Saint-Denis, held day parties into September, including one on 19 September 2026 from 2pm to midnight. And at La Défense, the free Garden Parvis festival ran from 18 June to 30 July 2026 at the foot of the Grande Arche, with a DJ set from 7pm to 8pm before each concert. Our guide to the suburbs has the rest.
Clubs outside the périphérique →Until spring: where to dance
The good news is that the open-air crowd doesn't disappear in winter. Mia Mao, the 3,000 m² warehouse in La Villette, is open from Thursday to Saturday; Badaboum, near Bastille, shares a group with Virage; and the techno clubs of the east, from Essaim to La Java, are programming through November and December. Our techno guide lists them, and if you want to know what's on this weekend, write to us on WhatsApp.
