Nouveau Casino is a concert hall and club at 109 rue Oberkampf, in the 11th, opened in 1999 by the team behind Café Charbon next door. Most evenings start with a gig from around 19:00, and on Fridays and Saturdays the room becomes a club from midnight to 06:00, mostly techno and house, with amapiano and afrobeats nights too.

How to Get to Nouveau Casino
109 rue Oberkampf, 75011 Paris. Metro Parmentier (line 3), MĂ©nilmontant (line 2) or Rue Saint-Maur (line 3); bus 96 stops nearby. The club closes at 06:00; before that, the Noctilien night buses run from about 00:30 to 05:30.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Nouveau Casino doesn't publish a dress code. It's a rock-and-electronic room on Oberkampf, and the crowd dresses accordingly.
From gig to club after midnight
Nouveau Casino works in two shifts. The evening usually starts with a concert around 19:00 and wraps up by 23:00; on club nights the room then reopens at midnight and runs until 06:00. The club is mostly a Friday and Saturday thing. In November 2026 the agenda had SWEAT #4 (house, indie dance and progressive) on Friday 6, BASEMENT on Saturday 7 with amapiano, afrobeats, shatta and rap, Blondasse Records with trance, techno and house on the 14th, and the monthly Less Drama More Techno on Saturday 28. Earlier in the autumn the venue also announced DJ Stingray 313 and Technosterone nights. Each club night is run by a different crew, so the music and the crowd change from week to week: check the night's genre on the venue's agenda before you choose.
A café-concert since 1850
The building has a long night-time history: it was a café-concert from 1850 to 1909, then a cinema called the Casino Oberkampf, then a leather workshop. The current Nouveau Casino opened in 1999, set up by the managers of Café Charbon, the brasserie next door. It works as a concert hall, a club and a multimedia room in one space. The concert programme is wide (rock, rap, jazz, pop, metal), which means the crowd on a club night often changes with the promoter. On the venue's agenda the club nights are listed separately from the concerts, with their own midnight start, so make sure you're looking at the right event when you plan your night. In November 2026 there were four club nights alongside the concerts.
Oberkampf before and after
Rue Oberkampf is one of the busiest bar streets in the east of Paris, so there's plenty to do before the club opens at midnight. The nearest metro stops are Parmentier (line 3), Ménilmontant (line 2) and Rue Saint-Maur (line 3), and bus 96 stops nearby. The last metro reaches the end of the line around 02:15 on Friday and Saturday nights; after that, the Noctilien night buses run from about 00:30 to 05:30, with Châtelet and Gare de l'Est among their main hubs. When the club closes at 06:00, the first metros are running again.
