Raspoutine is a club in a former Russian cabaret at 58 rue de Bassano, in the 8th arrondissement, a few minutes from the Champs-Élysées and avenue George V. The cabaret opened in April 1965 across three basement floors, with décor by the artist Erté, and its frontage, staircase and first-basement interiors have been a listed historic monument since 1991. Its website now gives Thursday to Saturday, 23:30 to 05:00, with deep house on the decks.

VIP Tables at Raspoutine

Raspoutine works mainly with tables and a selective door. Conditions depend on the club, the night and where the table is, so send us a WhatsApp with the date, how many of you there are and the kind of night you have in mind, and we'll come back with what's possible.

How to Get to Raspoutine

The address is 58 rue de Bassano, 75008 Paris, and the nearest metro is George V on line 1. To get home, the metro runs until about 02:15 on Friday and Saturday nights and about 01:15 on other nights; after that, the N11 night bus stops at George V and at Charles de Gaulle-Étoile.

Dress Code & Entry Requirements

The club doesn't publish a written dress code, but its own website talks about a stylish crowd and the door has a reputation for being picky. Dress for it: a smart shirt or jacket, good shoes, nothing sporty. If you come as a group, a table makes the door much simpler.

A 1965 Russian cabaret that became a deep house club

Raspoutine opened in April 1965 as a Russian cabaret spread over three basement floors at 58 rue de Bassano. The artist Erté, born Romain de Tirtoff, signed the décor in plaster, painted wood and fabric, and the French Ministry of Culture has listed the frontage, the staircase, the cloakroom and the first-basement interiors as a historic monument since 1991. The club's own site lists past guests such as Serge Gainsbourg and Marlene Dietrich. What you hear today is deep house, from Thursday to Saturday between 23:30 and 05:00. The name has travelled too: the same website now lists Raspoutine clubs in Saint-Tropez and Los Angeles, and a dinner-and-club format in Dubai. The room still looks the part, with the rococo gilding, chandeliers and blood-red velvet banquettes that Time Out describes, so take a moment to look around before the floor fills up.

Thursdays, Fashion Week and the crowd

In March 2026 Access Le Mag described a weekly Thursday night called “Kabukicho”, a nod to Tokyo nightlife with neon, music and performances, and an international crowd drawn by the deep house sets. Twice a year the club becomes one of the hardest doors in Paris: both its website and the magazine single it out as a regular stop for Fashion Week parties. The street itself is quiet, lined with embassies and galleries, a block from avenue George V and five minutes from the Champs-Élysées, which makes it easy to start with dinner or a drink in the Triangle d'Or before heading down the stairs around midnight. If you're coming during a Fashion Week, send us your dates as early as you can: those are the nights when tables go first and the door is at its strictest.

Getting there, getting home and booking

Take line 1 to George V and walk a few minutes along rue de Bassano. Coming back, the metro runs until about 02:15 on Friday and Saturday nights and about 01:15 on other nights. After that, the Noctilien night buses take over from 00:30 to 05:30: the N11 stops at George V and Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and runs through the city centre to Châtelet, Bastille and Gare de Lyon, roughly every ten minutes on Friday and Saturday nights according to its timetable. For a table or the guest list, message us on WhatsApp with the date and the size of your group; conditions depend on the club, the night and the table, and we'll tell you what's possible before you go.
