Enjoy La Station – Gare des Mines

La Station – Gare des Mines is an alternative club and arts venue in a former coal station by the périphérique, at 29 avenue de la Porte d'Aubervilliers in the 18th. Run since 2016 by the non-profit Collectif MU, it has two indoor rooms, Station Nord and Station Sud, and a 5,000 m² outdoor area with a garden. Resident Advisor calls it one of the most vital alternative venues in Paris. It was due to close on 1 November 2026, but on 23 October Time Out reported a last-minute extension until the end of the year, before about three years of works.

VIP Tables at La Station – Gare des Mines
La Station is a community-run club, not a table venue. If you want help with tickets for one of its last nights or are coming as a group, message us on WhatsApp with the date; conditions depend on the venue and the night.
How to Get to La Station – Gare des Mines
29 avenue de la Porte d'Aubervilliers, 75018 Paris. Metro Front Populaire (line 12), RER E Rosa Parks or tram T3b Porte d'Aubervilliers; buses 35, 54 and 239 stop nearby. Club nights usually end at 07:00, when public transport is running again.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
There is no dress code. La Station works as a safer space: oppressive, violent or discriminatory behaviour isn't tolerated and can get you excluded, and problems can be reported at the ticket desk during events.
The last weeks before the works
La Station – Gare des Mines was meant to close on 1 November 2026 at 07:00, after a closing weekend at the end of October. On 23 October Time Out reported a last-minute extension until the end of the year, while Collectif MU looks for a temporary space worthy of its artists; after that, the site closes for about three years of works that will reshape the whole Porte d'Aubervilliers area, and the collective plans a new venue in the future district. When we checked on 3 November 2026, the November and December programme hadn't been published yet, so keep an eye on the venue's agenda and Instagram. If you want to be there for one of the last nights, message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you when new dates are out.
A coal station turned club
The venue occupies a former coal station on the edge of the périphérique. Collectif MU, a non-profit arts organisation founded in 2002, opened it in June 2016, and in 2020 it added a new building and a 5,000 m² outdoor area with a garden. Inside there are two rooms, Station Nord and Station Sud. Resident Advisor describes the programming as queer and community-led, from experimental club music to hardcore. Beyond the parties, Time Out notes that the site also hosts a day welcome for exiles, the radio StationStation and artist residencies. Tickets are sold through the venue's own channels, and the door works on the same safer-space rules as the rest of the site: oppressive, violent or discriminatory behaviour can get you excluded, and problems can be reported at the ticket desk during events.
Getting there and back
La Station is at 29 avenue de la Porte d'Aubervilliers, in the 18th, right by the city limit with Aubervilliers. The easiest ways in are metro line 12 to Front Populaire, RER E to Rosa Parks or tram T3b to Porte d'Aubervilliers, and buses 35, 54 and 239 also stop nearby. Club nights usually run from 23:00 to 07:00, so most people leave when the metro and RER are running again. If you leave earlier, the Noctilien night buses run every night from about 00:30 to 05:30. If you need help organising a group night for one of the final dates, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are, and we'll also tell you the simplest way back from Porte d'Aubervilliers that night.
