Nua is a club at 32 rue de Tilsitt, in the 17th arrondissement, on the ring around the Place Charles de Gaulle, a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe. Saturday is its night: resident DJs play afrobeat, afro house and deep house until the early morning, in a room decorated with suspended clouds and lightning-style lights, according to Access Le Mag (April 2026). It's the afro house address of the Étoile.

The sound: afro house in the west of Paris

Around the Étoile, most clubs lean towards hip-hop, house, deep house or commercial hits. Nua brings afro house and afrobeat to the neighbourhood. Its resident DJs move between afrobeat, afro house and deep house, and keep going until the early morning on Saturdays. For a group staying in the 8e, 16e or 17e that wants that music without crossing the city, it's the natural choice. It also fills a gap between its neighbours: L'Arc, around the corner on rue de Presbourg, leans towards hip-hop and house, and the Costes clubs towards smooth deep house. If your group mixes tastes, you can start at one and finish at the other, since they're a few minutes apart on foot. In April 2026 Access Le Mag called Nua one of the capital's most sought-after clubs, describing an elegant, energetic and cosmopolitan room.

Clouds, lightning and the VIP areas

The room is the other reason people go. Access Le Mag describes an immersive décor of suspended clouds and lightning-style lights that gives the dance floor a spectacular feel. It's the kind of setting that photographs well, which is part of why Nua works for birthdays and celebrations. The club has VIP areas for groups of friends and special occasions. Since Saturday is the main night, those areas are the first to go, so if you're coming as a group, book a few days ahead and tell us what you're celebrating. Conditions depend on the club, the night and where the table is. If you're a couple or a small group, ask us about the guest list too. Some listings also announce Wednesday afrobeats nights; we haven't been able to confirm them with a second source, so if you're in Paris midweek, ask us whether they're running that week before you plan around them.

What to wear and getting there

Most groups have dinner first: the top of the Champs-Élysées and the streets around the Étoile have plenty of options, and rue de Tilsitt is a few minutes' walk from all of them. Saturday is the night, so plan to arrive after dinner rather than at opening, and if you've booked a VIP area, give us a firm headcount: it's easier for everyone when the group that turns up matches the booking. Nua doesn't publish a dress code. It's an elegant, cosmopolitan room near the Étoile, so dress up a little: a smart shirt or a dress, clean shoes, no sportswear. Arrive together, with the booking under one name. Charles de Gaulle-Étoile is served by metro lines 1, 2 and 6 and by RER A, a short walk from rue de Tilsitt; on a Saturday the metro runs until about 02:15, and after that the N11 night bus stops at Charles de Gaulle-Étoile. L'Arc and Le Duplex are a few minutes away if the night goes on.
