The Best Nightclubs in Paris (2026): A Club-by-Club Guide
· Updated:
The best nightclubs in Paris in 2026 depend on the night you want: Rex Club and Essaim for techno, Raspoutine, L'Arc and Le Duplex for a table around the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, La Machine du Moulin Rouge and Phantom for a big room, and Djoon for house. Most open Thursday to Saturday and close between 5am and 7am.
Every club on this list was open in 2026, according to its own website or programme, or to recent press such as Time Out Paris or Le Bonbon. There's no paid placement and no ranking by number: Paris doesn't have one best club, it has a handful of very different nights. We don't publish entry conditions, because they change with the club, the night and the door. For tickets, the guest list or a table, message us on WhatsApp.

Table clubs: Champs-Élysées and Étoile
If your idea of a night out in Paris is a table, a smart outfit and a door that picks its crowd, head west. Raspoutine, at 58 rue de Bassano, is a former Russian cabaret that opened in 1965 over three basement floors; its frontage, staircase and first-basement interiors have been a listed historic monument since 1991. It opens Thursday to Saturday, 11:30pm to 5am, with deep house. Ten minutes away, L'Arc sits on the ring of the Place Charles de Gaulle, facing the Arc de Triomphe: Thursday to Saturday until 6am, hip-hop and house, and a dress code the Paris Region tourist board spells out as no jeans and no trainers.

Le Duplex, at 2 bis avenue Foch, is the one to know when it's a Tuesday: its website says it opens every night, 11pm to 6am, with a different sound in each room. Bridge, built into the bank of the Seine under the Pont Alexandre III, is the large-format option, with resident DJs mixing pop, rap and party classics at weekends and up to about 2,500 people on big nights. Around rue Pierre Charron and avenue Montaigne you'll also find Cova, Mirage, Manko and Matignon, where dinner often runs straight into the party.

Techno and house: where Paris dances
Rex Club, in the basement of the Grand Rex cinema at 5 boulevard Poissonnière, is where most people start. Time Out Paris says it has been running for more than 40 years and gave early nights to Laurent Garnier and Daft Punk. It holds 800 on one dancefloor, opens Wednesday to Saturday until about 7am, and its own FAQ says there's no VIP area and no VIP tables. Essaim, opened on 31 October 2024 at 14 rue Philippe de Girard, is the newer reference: about 400 people, the DJ at floor level, long sets, and a door that decides even if you have a presale ticket.

Beyond those two, the list is long. La Java, a dance hall since 1923 under the Faubourg du Temple, runs house and techno until 7am on Fridays and Saturdays. FVTVR, under the Cité de la Mode et du Design on the quai d'Austerlitz, opens Thursday to Sunday from midnight with techno and trance. Mia Mao, in La Villette, is a 3,000 m² warehouse with Manu le Malin as a resident. And Djoon, open since 2003 on boulevard Vincent Auriol, is the city's house club, with soulful, deep and afro house in a two-storey loft.

The big rooms
La Machine du Moulin Rouge, at 90 boulevard de Clichy, spreads over three floors next to the Moulin Rouge: the Central room holds over 1,000 for club nights and the Chaufferie, the cabaret's old boiler room, about 400. The club runs Friday and Saturday from midnight to 6am, with techno, house, trance and 90s nights. Phantom, opened in March 2023 inside the Accor Arena in Bercy, is built for international headliners, with about 1,400 m² under a huge articulated mirror; Ben Klock brings his Photon night there on 12 December 2026.

YOYO, under the west wing of the Palais de Tokyo, has about 900 m² of raw concrete and a ten-metre ceiling, and runs by event with house, tech house and afro house; Fashion Week nights draw a dressed-up crowd. Badaboum, near Bastille, mixes a main club, an upstairs mini-club and a cocktail bar over two floors, and Resident Advisor says it balances accessible bookings with credible underground programming.

Nights you won't find anywhere else
Some of the best Paris nights don't fit a category. Madame Arthur, a drag cabaret since 1946 at 75 bis rue des Martyrs, puts on shows from 9pm and then turns into a club that plays only French-language music until 6am. Silencio, designed by David Lynch at 142 rue Montmartre, lets members in first and opens its door to others after midnight, if the door likes your look. Pamela, a vaulted cellar on rue Mazarine in Saint-Germain, has a selective door and a queer night, La P3. And the Bateau Phare, the old Batofar lightship moored opposite the BnF library, has you dancing on the Seine until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays.

How to plan your night
Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the main nights; a few clubs start on Wednesday. Clubs fill up late, so there's no point arriving at 11pm unless the door is known to be tough, in which case arriving early helps. The metro runs until about 1:15am from Sunday to Thursday and about 2:15am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a public holiday (times at the end of the line), then the Noctilien night buses take over from about 0:30 to 5:30. Many clubs close at 6am or 7am, when the first metros are running again.
Dress for the club, not for Paris in general: smart in the 8th and 16th, comfortable in the techno clubs of the east. For anything involving a table, a group or a specific night, write to us first: we'll tell you what's realistic before you queue.
