FVTVR Paris Guide: Music, Crowd, Dress Code, Getting There

· Updated:

FVTVR is a techno club in a warehouse-style space under the Cité de la Mode et du Design, at 34 quai d'Austerlitz in Paris's 13th arrondissement, on the Seine. Time Out Paris lists it as open Thursday to Sunday from midnight, and the music is techno first, with trance, house and electro on some nights.

Who FVTVR is for

If you came to Paris for techno and not for a table by the dancefloor, this is one of the rooms to know. FVTVR opened on 15 June 2023, after a first life as a concert venue, and the electronic music press now puts it among the major techno clubs in the city. The space is industrial, with a long dancefloor shaped like a tunnel, the kind of room where the light stays low and you stop checking the time. The crowd is there for the DJ, and on the busiest nights, Friday and Saturday, that means people who know the names on the bill and plan to stay until the end. It's not a place to pop into for an hour on the way somewhere else: doors open at midnight, and the night really starts after that.

Long sets, marathons and Jeudi Ok

What sets FVTVR apart is how much it likes long formats. In late summer 2026 the bill went from Chris Liebing on 28 August and House of Rekids with Radio Slave on 29 August to an extended set by Freddy K on 5 September and DVS1 on 11 September. Then came a 24-hour marathon on 12 and 13 September and The Third Room, which ran for 32 hours on 18 and 19 September. On nights like that, people come and go in shifts, and the room you find at 4am is not the one you'll find at noon.

Thursday is a different story. Jeudi Ok is the club's own Thursday night, with queer collectives taking turns behind the decks, and it's a good entry point if weekend techno marathons sound like too much. The latest dated nights we found ran to 10 October 2026, when FVTVR and Wanderlust put on one night across four stages; new dates come out as the season goes on, so message us on WhatsApp to know what's on the week you're in Paris.

FVTVR or Wanderlust? Same building, two nights

A lot of people mix the two up, and it's easy to see why. Both clubs are in the Cité de la Mode et du Design, the building on quai d'Austerlitz. FVTVR is the underground techno room at number 34. Wanderlust is at number 32, with a big wooden terrace over the Seine and a programme that changes from house to hip-hop and reggaeton depending on the night. Some ticketing pages even give Wanderlust the number 34, which only adds to the confusion. If you want a dark room and a long techno set, it's FVTVR. If you want a terrace and a lighter mood, it's Wanderlust. On some nights you can do both, and on 9 and 10 October 2026 the two clubs ran a single event together.

What to wear, and the way home after a midnight start

FVTVR doesn't publish a dress code. Dress for a hot, crowded warehouse and for staying until morning: comfortable shoes, light layers, nothing you'd worry about. For the trip, Quai de la Gare on metro line 6 is the nearest station, and Gare d'Austerlitz is a short walk upriver. The catch is the timing. With a midnight start, you'll almost always leave after the last metro, which the RATP gives at about 2:15am at the end of the line on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays (about 1:15am on other nights). After that, Noctilien night buses run from roughly 12:30am to 5:30am and take a Navigo pass, or you can wait for the first metro or take a taxi from the quai. Agree on the plan with your friends before you go in, because phone battery tends to run out by 5am.
