Folies Pigalle Paris Guide: House, Techno and Disco on the Square

Folies Pigalle is a club for about 400 people at 11 place Pigalle, on the square itself, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It has no fixed weekly schedule: house, techno and disco promoters book it for their own nights, mostly on Friday or Saturday from 11:30pm, and the next date announced is Underground Legends with Sam Karlson on Saturday 14 November 2026.

A host room, not a brand

Most clubs try to give you a reason to come back every week. Folies Pigalle works the other way round: it lends its room to promoters, and each of them brings a sound, a crowd and door rules of their own. That's why it's best read as a venue rather than a club night. The history of the last few years shows the range: Arnaud Rebotini with Disco Darble in August 2024, an Italo Disco night in September 2024, ONETRUEPATH with Klein that November. The current series is Underground Legends, started in autumn 2026: 12 September, 2 October, and next up Saturday 14 November with Sam Karlson, from 11:30pm.

How to choose your night

Start from the music, not the venue. If you like disco and its Italian cousins, look for the nights built around them; if you want house or techno, follow the promoters you already know. Then read the night's own listing: start time, line-up and entry rules change with each promoter. One practical warning: the web domain that once carried the club's name now shows unrelated content, so don't use it for dates or tickets. Who goes and what to wear

No dress code is published, and each promoter's night has its own crowd: a disco night and a hard techno party in the same room won't look alike. For most of them, dress to dance in a full room of 400: something light, shoes you can stand in until the early hours, and nothing you'd mind getting crushed at the bar. It's a good option for small groups who already know the sound they want and like a club in the middle of the action rather than at the edge of town.

Place Pigalle all around

Being right on the square is the big advantage. Pigalle metro is a few steps away, and the neighbourhood is one of the busiest at night in Paris: the Bus Palladium hotel-club, the Mikado in its hotel basement, the Madame Arthur cabaret and the three-floor Machine du Moulin Rouge are all within a short walk. That makes it easy to start a night elsewhere and finish here, or the reverse. The last metro reaches the end of the line around 1:15am on weeknights and 2:15am on Fridays and Saturdays; after that, the Noctilien night buses take over until the morning metro.
