Glazart Paris Guide: After O'Clock, Music, Door Rules, Getting There
· Updated:
Glazart is a concert hall and after-party venue at 7/15 avenue de la Porte de la Villette, in the 19th, best known for After O'Clock: techno and drum & bass afters every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 06:00 to 16:00. In the evenings the same 700-capacity hall hosts rock, metal and punk gigs. If the clubs have closed and you're not ready to stop, this is where much of Paris goes next.

How After O'Clock works
Most Paris clubs close between 06:00 and 07:00. Glazart opens its doors at exactly that moment. After O'Clock runs from 06:00 to 16:00 every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, with techno and drum & bass DJs and a happy hour in the first hour. That makes it the classic next stop after Mia Mao, La Station or the other clubs of the north-east. In November 2026, for example, the agenda listed afters on Saturday 7 with VIVI909, Camporeale and Calypso, on Sunday 8 with Julian Muller, Mila Black and Nectare, and on Wednesday 11 for the Armistice holiday.
The atmosphere is particular: daylight outside, a dark room inside, and a crowd that, in many cases, has come straight from another club. Entry conditions change with each session, so check the event page on the venue's website before you go.
Afters in Paris: where to go after the club →From coach station to concert hall
Glazart was founded in 1992 by Stéphane Vatinel as Glaz'art, on rue de Meaux, and in 1997 it moved into an old Eurolines coach station at Porte de la Villette. Hard years followed from 2005, until a 2009 reopening brought a bigger capacity and a better sound system. The main hall holds 700 people, and in the evenings the programme leans towards rock, metal and punk, alongside electronic nights. In summer an outdoor area called La Plage, 800 m² of sand, takes over for daytime parties. That double life shapes the crowd: rock fans in the evening, clubbers from all over the north-east in the morning. Public holidays count as well: the afters also run on bank holidays such as 11 November, so a midweek day off becomes a short weekend for the scene. If you only have one free morning in Paris, a holiday or a Sunday is the time to try it.
Door rules and what to bring
Glazart doesn't publish a dress code, but its door rules are clear: no outside food or drink, no glass, no cans, no large bags and no suitcases, and security may check ID, so carry yours. There's a cloakroom for coats and bags. If you're coming straight from another club, that's usually not a problem; if you're coming from a train, leave your luggage elsewhere. For a group planning a full night with an after, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are.
Getting there and getting home
Line 7 to Porte de la Villette is the simplest route (exit 4 brings you out closest), with the T3b tram on the boulevard and buses 150, 152 and 139 as back-ups. An after that starts at 06:00 means arriving on a night bus or on the first metro of the day: the N42 Noctilien serves this corner of the 19th, and the night network covers roughly 00:30 to 05:30. Leaving in the afternoon is easy, since the metro is running normally by then. There's no parking at the venue.
