A club inside an art centre
Few cities put a club under a contemporary art museum. The Palais de Tokyo itself calls YOYO a high spot of Paris clubbing, run as a concession by Paris Icons, and its nights draw on the young contemporary scene, mixing sound, visuals, dance and electronic music. In August 2026 Sortir à Paris put it at roughly 900 m²: three areas including a stage, a dancefloor and a big mezzanine, bare concrete, an XXL video screen and ten metres of height. That height is what you notice first. It feels more like a warehouse than a cellar, and the mezzanine gives you somewhere to watch the floor from above.
Every night is a different event
YOYO doesn't run a weekly club night, so the question is always “what's on that date?”. The summer 2026 programme shows how wide it goes: La Purple Paris on 15 August, with queer anthems from disco to Brat; Futur:O with Pablo Fierro on 29 August; SXM Festival x Kalua on 19 September. Fashion Week brought its own nights in early October 2026, and the club had already seen in 2026 with a large New Year's Eve party. Club nights usually run from 11:30pm to 6am, though some start earlier, and on other dates the Palais de Tokyo hires the space for private events, from cocktails to launches. Check the night's page for exact times before you go.
The best clubs in Paris →Who it suits and what to wear
Groups do well here: the three areas and the mezzanine mean you can find your own corner, and it's a good alternative to the Champs-Élysées clubs if you want house music in a space with more character. No dress code is published. Fashion Week nights draw a dressed-up crowd; on regular house nights, comfortable and stylish is the right balance, with shoes you can dance in on concrete until 6am. Whether a table or the guest list is possible varies by event, so send us the date and your numbers on WhatsApp.
On the Chaillot hill, and the way home
The Palais de Tokyo stands on the Chaillot hill above the Seine, across the river from the Eiffel Tower district, further west than most of the city's clubs. That makes it a good fit if you're staying in the 16th, the 8th or the 7th, and a longer trip if you're based in the east. The last metro reaches the end of the line around 1:15am on weeknights and 2:15am on Fridays and Saturdays; after that, the Noctilien night buses run, and at the 6am close the first morning metros are starting up again. In summer, the same corner of the west also has La Clairière, the open-air club in the Bois de Boulogne.
