Phantom Paris Guide: Music, Crowd, Dress Code, Getting There

· Updated:

Phantom is a large electronic music club built into the basement of the Accor Arena in Bercy, in Paris's 12th arrondissement, with its own entrance at Porte 28 on boulevard de Bercy. It opens by event, mostly on Friday and Saturday nights, and books international house and techno headliners for a broad crowd rather than a niche one.

What kind of club Phantom is

Think of Phantom as the Paris answer to the superclub. Paris Society, the group that also runs La Clairière, opened it on 17 March 2023 in roughly 1,400 m² under the arena, and the room was designed for scale: high ceilings, wide metal arches and a 170 m² articulated mirror hanging over the dancefloor. When it opened, Time Out Paris said the programme would aim at a wide audience, and that is still how it works. You won't find a small, dark techno basement here. You'll find a big production, a headliner everyone has come to see, and a crowd that mixes regular clubbers, groups of friends and people who mostly go out when a name they know is in town.

The room isn't only a club. It also hosts concerts, shows, fashion shows and private events, which is why Phantom doesn't open every weekend on a fixed formula: each night is its own event, with its own line-up and its own start time.

Picking your night: November 2026 to February 2027

Because the programme is built around headliners, the real question is not whether Phantom is good but which night suits you. The autumn already showed the range, from Vintage Culture in September to a Mathame all-night-long set with a no-phone policy in October. The rest of the season, as published in August 2026, looks like this:

DateNight
Sat 7 Nov 2026Dirty Workz
Fri 13 Nov 2026Vieze Asbak, all night long
Fri 20 Nov 2026Funk Tribu
Fri 27 Nov 2026Miss Monique
Fri 4 and Sat 5 Dec 2026Vladimir Cauchemar
Sat 12 Dec 2026Ben Klock presents “Photon”
Thu 31 Dec 2026OrganĂŻk (New Year's Eve)
Sat 20 Feb 2027First date announced for 2027

Two more nights are listed on 18 and 19 December. If you're after hard, fast sounds, Dirty Workz and Funk Tribu are the obvious picks; for a long, deep techno night, the Ben Klock date is the one the techno crowd will circle. Programmes change, so check the night with us on WhatsApp before you plan around it.

What to wear and what to expect inside

Phantom doesn't publish a dress code. For a night this size, the sensible choice is clothes and shoes you can dance in for five or six hours, and a layer you can leave in the cloakroom. Some events set their own rules: the Mathame night in October asked people to keep their phones away, so read the event page for your date. Inside, the scale is the point. The huge articulated mirror hangs right over the floor, the ceilings are high enough that the room never feels cramped, and the sound is built for a crowd in the hundreds rather than a few dozen. If you're coming as a group and want a table or a specific area, the conditions depend on the event and the area: send us the date and your numbers on WhatsApp.

Getting in through Porte 28, and getting home

The most common mistake is heading for the arena's main doors. Phantom has its own entrance, Porte 28, at 8 boulevard de Bercy, and if you arrive by taxi or ride-hailing car the club gives 35 rue de Bercy as its drop-off point. By metro, Bercy station (lines 6 and 14) is the closest. Line 14 is handy if you're coming from the centre, since it runs fast across the city. Going home is the part to plan. The RATP gives the end of metro service at about 2:15am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays, and about 1:15am on other nights, measured at the end of the line, so the last train reaches Bercy earlier. Most big nights here go on well past that, so you'll be on a Noctilien night bus (roughly 12:30am to 5:30am, Navigo valid), in a taxi, or waiting for the first metro.

Phantom is also the first stop on a stretch of the Seine that has a lot going on at night: cross the river and the quais of the 13th bring FVTVR and Wanderlust under the Cité de la Mode, Djoon and the boats at Port de la Gare.
