Bridge Paris Guide: the Club Under the Pont Alexandre III

· Updated:

Bridge is the large club built into the right bank of the Seine under the Pont Alexandre III, in the 8th arrondissement, on the site of the old Showcase. It opens at weekends and on the night before public holidays, from midnight to 06:00, with resident DJs playing pop, rap, rock and party classics, and on big nights it holds around 2,500 people. It's the place in the west of Paris for a big, mixed group that wants a proper dance floor rather than a lounge.

What makes Bridge different from the 8e clubs

Most of the nightlife around the Champs-Élysées happens in basements and former mansions holding a few hundred people. Bridge works on another scale. It sits in the stone of the riverbank, between the Grand Palais and the water, and the Paris Region tourist board describes a show as much as a club: resident DJs moving between pop, rap, rock and timeless hits, video installations on the walls, and dancers and circus performers in the crowd. The tourist board names the operator as Paris Society, the group behind YOYO at the Palais de Tokyo and La Clairière in the Bois de Boulogne, which tells you the kind of production to expect. The music is broad on purpose. If your group mixes people who want rap, people who want the songs they know and people who just want to dance, this is easier to agree on than a deep house basement.

Weekend nights, afterworks and live shows

Bridge has three faces. The main one is the weekend club night, from midnight to 06:00, also on the eve of public holidays. The second starts much earlier: on some Thursdays the club runs very large afterworks, with arrivals from 19:00, a buffet and drinks, then a DJ set until 02:00; the one on Thursday 24 September 2026 was billed for 2,000 people. The third is live music. In October 2026 the club hosted rap acts such as L2B Gang on 2 October, and in summer 2026 its Saturday series, Start Game, promised guest DJs every week. For 31 December 2026 a hip-hop New Year's Eve party is already announced. Which one suits you depends on the group: afterworks for colleagues, Saturdays for a birthday, a show night if there's an artist you want to see. Tell us your date on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what's on.

What to wear and how to come as a group

Bridge has no website of its own publishing a dress code, and listings for its weekend nights ask for smart clothes. For the Thursday afterworks people come straight from the office, so work clothes are fine. On Friday and Saturday, make a small effort: a shirt or a nice top, clean shoes, no tracksuit. Because the room is big, Bridge is one of the easier places in the 8e for a large group, but large groups still go more smoothly with a plan. Decide in advance whether you want tickets, the guest list or a table, give us one name and a headcount, and arrive together. For birthdays and company nights, a table gives you a base in a room that size, and conditions depend on the night and where the table is.

Getting there and back from the river

The nearest metro is Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau on line 1; from there you walk down towards the Pont Alexandre III and the entrance is on the riverside road. On a weekend night, the metro closes long before Bridge does, so plan the way back: the N11 night bus stops at Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau and Concorde-Cours la Reine, a few minutes on foot, heading west to the Étoile and east to Châtelet and Bastille. Before or after, the Champs-Élysées clubs are close: Matignon by the Rond-Point and Les Planches on rue du Colisée make good stops for dinner or a smaller room.
