Three nights, three moods
Badaboum changes character through the week. Thursday is LA CH!CK, a pop night with themes that lean into internet culture, such as “Remembering Brat Summer” on 19 November 2026 or a “Minions Rave” on the 26th. Fridays and Saturdays switch to electronic music, mostly house, disco and techno. Resident Advisor sums up the weekend booking as accessible names mixed with credible underground ones, and November 2026 is a good example. The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris brought its Club DH2 night on the 5th; Magma followed on the 6th; DJ Physical's residency hosted Pangaea on the 7th; House in Symphony filled the eve of the 11 November holiday; and Marli & Master c-fu took the whole night on the 13th.
Upstairs, the mini-club goes its own way with funk, disco, rock, pop and hip-hop. That's handy for groups: if half of you came for techno and the other half for something you can sing to, you can split up for an hour and meet again at the bar.
How the building works
Badaboum opened on 31 October 2013 in the former Scène Bastille and spreads over about 600 m². The space breaks down into a concert hall, the main club, the upstairs mini-club, a cocktail bar and the Bureau, a small room that's easy to miss. Bands and live acts (pop, rock, electronic) play first, and at 23:30 the building switches to club mode. The venue hires out the cocktail bar and the Bureau to private groups, which makes it one of the easier places in the east for a birthday: a corner of your own early on, then down to the dancefloor. It belongs to the same group as Virage, the open-air under the périphérique in the 17th: when Virage is closed for the season, Badaboum is the group's address for the rest of the year.
Paris nightlife, area by area →Dress code and the door
Badaboum doesn't publish a dress code. What it does say is that its parties are inclusive, that discriminatory behaviour gets you excluded and that the door can refuse entry. The crowd changes with the night: Thursday's pop nights come with a theme, which some people play along with, while the weekend house and techno nights are more about comfortable clothes for a long night. Tickets are mostly sold online ahead of each night. For a group or a birthday, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are.
Getting there and getting home
Ledru-Rollin (line 8), Voltaire (line 9) and Bastille (lines 1, 5 and 8) are all a few minutes' walk away,, and there are plenty of bars around Bastille for a drink before the club opens. The last metros get to the end of their lines at about 02:15 on Fridays and Saturdays and around 01:15 on Thursdays. If you leave before the 07:00 close, Noctilien buses cover the night from roughly 00:30 to 05:30, with Gare de Lyon, close to Bastille, among the network's big interchanges. If you stay until the end, the metro is running again.
